AGE 5-7
Programming
Basics
Course information
Coding, just like any other language, is learned best at a young age. Young coders (ages 5-7) can program their own interactive stories and games with Scratch Junior. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer while learning the foundation of programming concepts and practices using a simplified, block-based coding platform.
This introductory course invites kids to create games, animations and stories through Scratch Junior, and there’s no need for reading or writing skills.
Kids will get to know the Scratch Junior learning environment, its friendly animated characters and cool tools. They will create fun games by dragging and dropping built-in blocks of code, which will help them get familiar with the logic and structure of programming from an early age.
